Race weekend is here, and Syracuse's NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) stopped by to preview the 48th annual Great Race, happening this Sunday, August 9 at Emerson Park.
The segment features committee members Jim Hanley and Jack Moochler on this year's more accessible course — a 5K run, 10-mile bike, and 2-mile paddle — the push to welcome younger athletes, and how this year's proceeds support the SS. Peter & John Episcopal Soup Kitchen.
