Three legs, one compact venue

The course keeps athletes moving while making it easy for teammates and spectators to stay close to the action.

5K

Run

A mass start at 9:30 AM on Owasco Road near the Emerson Park entrance. Runners stay to the right and return to the changeover zone on Owasco Road, near the Farmer's Museum. Timing chips are mandatory — no chip, no time.

10 miles

Bike

Cyclists stage in the changeover zone and leave once they receive the team flag. Hard-shell helmets are mandatory, the course closes at noon, and all bikes must be back by then. No e-bikes or powered bikes allowed.

2 miles

Paddle

The paddle leg launches from Emerson Park and rounds a pontoon turnaround, with orange buoys kept to the right. Life jackets are required — paddlers without one will be disqualified. The finish is off Deauville Island.

Emerson Park sits at the northern end of Owasco Lake and hosts race start, the two changeover zones, and the post-race celebration. Parking, restrooms, and the finish area are all on site.
